Yushu Earthquake: For anybody who has been following our blog over the last few months, you will know that we were in Yushu and the surrounding area last year. It is one of the most stunning and fascinating areas of China we’ve visited.
It’s difficult to express how we feel at the moment. Sitting here in the comfort of our flat in Madrid, the catastrophe in Yushu seems a world a way, and yet so close. We can only hope that the people we met and their families have survived this tragedy.
My family and I have been part of the Yushu community for the past 7+ years and were there when the earthquake happened. We share the same feelings as you regarding this tragedy.
Here is our report from the earthquake zone:

In an effort to raise money towards the victims of this year’s Yushu earthquake tragedy, Hong Kong-based MILK Magazine teamed up with a selection of artists/brands to create products that will bring awareness to this initiative alongside the Chinese Red Cross. The first design in this series will be a graphic t-shirt, designed by Jun Takahashi’s UNDERCOVER brand, which is a part of MILK’s 2nd Year Anniversary project as well. The shirt features the “U” logo in a MILK style font on a white/black base; simple and to-the-point.
